Ozzy Osbourne’s house was put up for sale several months ago, which gives us a look inside his house, designed by Sharon Osbourne’s favorite designer, author, and star of the one time show Million Dollar Decorators, Martyn Lawrence-Bullard.
I don’t know what their house looked like in the height of Ozzy’s fame, but this is a far cry from what I would expect, although if you watched the MTV show, The Osbournes, you saw another one of their homes that had some of the same sensibilities.
Love the porter chairs! This picture is from the MSL listing…I like Architectural Digest’s layout better.
Evening view of MLS listing…
Barn doors used as a backdrop in their family room.
Another view of the family room.
Sharon Osbourne’s home office
Wood paneled library
Dining room Kitchen – I also loved the Osbourne’s kitchen in their home that was on the MTV show, The Osbournes, which had buttery yellows. Stone covered patio
I believe we’ve seen this bed before! Remember my post, Canopy Beds Aren’t Just for Little Girls? I liked how the bed was treated in that post much better (as it was SO unusual!)
Same room! different photographers! This photo is from the MLS listing, so the room looks much more subdued (maybe intentional?)
This room (I think) would benefit from a creamy, plush rug (maybe sheepskin), but the floor is so interesting. If you look closely, you can see that it is actually painted hardwood . Sitting room/dressing room.
A freestanding, deep tub off of the master bedroom.
The interesting thing about this house is the use of blue throughout. It makes for a flow and transition from room to room, instead of jarring the eye when entering another room with a completely new palette.
So interesting to see what others do in there house, especially when money is no object, they have hired a professional and what they are attracted to in terms of style….
Have a great day!
